Through the convenience of the Distance Learning Program's broad spectrum of educational opportunities, nurses keep their skills current with the latest developments in clinical care. See how you can advance your nursing career!
These programs are free and available to Kaiser Permanente nursing staff and clinicians in all regions. Choose from the three areas below to find out how to take part in our programs.
Most of our Clinical Videoconferencing Network (CVN) programs are available at all Kaiser Permanente facilities. Videos of past CVN broadcasts can be borrowed from the Multimedia Library.
The Distance Learning Team is very pleased to offer Web Video Programs through the national Nursing Pathways website. These programs are intended for nursing staff as well as other interested clinicians, within or outside of Kaiser Permanente. It can be accessed 24/7 from a Kaiser Permanente computer as well as from your own home PC. There is no charge for these continuing education programs.
The Home Study program, in cooperation with the KP Staff MultiMedia Library, makes it possible for Kaiser Permanente employees to earn continuing education contact hour credits from watching previously broadcast CVN programs.
As part of Nursing Pathways, Kaiser Permanente‘s Clinical E-Learning team has created a Web-based system for taking courses. Called Clinical E-Learning, or online learning, this personalized management system contains a variety of courses for nursing staff. The courses are easily accessed via the Internet Explorer browser, and are designed to make learning as easy as point-and-click!
