Registering for Distance Learning Programs
Most programs offered by the Distance Learning Program (DLP) do not require registration at the DLP offices. However, many Kaiser Permanente facilities do have a local registration system in place. To find out more, contact your local education department, nurse recruiter, or other education representative at your facility to find out if one of our CVN programs can being hosted locally.
If you have difficulty locating your contact person for registration, please e-mail the DLP at distance.learning@kp.org or call us at (510) 625-5852, and we will be happy to assist you. You may also request to be added to our email distribution list.
Some specialty programs are offered only at certain locations and/or to certain healthcare roles. These programs will require registration, and are generally handled by the same local representatives as mentioned above. The CVN calendar, as well as any flyers we distribute by email, will explicitly state whether registration is compulsory as well as which sites are available.
