Program Description:

This video program is designed primarily for registered nurses working in continuing care, home health, hospice, and inpatient settings.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this program, each participant will be able to:

  1. Describe at least three elements of a thorough physical examination.

  2. Describe how a nurse can organize his or her physical exam to maximize efficiency.

  3. State the appropriate follow-up actions for unusual or unexpected findings.

  4. Identify one concept that can immediately be applied to clinical practice.

Continuing Education credit:

Approved by the BRN for one contact hour. Provider number 14147.

  4. Mail or fax completed posttest and evaluation form to the Distance Learning Program. The fax number and address are on the form.
