Program Description:

This video program is designed primarily for all health care employees who provide direct care to patients with disabilities.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this program, each participant will be able to:

Utilize general and specific guidelines for interacting with individuals who have disabilities due to physical, sensory, and/or cognitive challenges.
Incorporate the Four Habits Model in the care of members with disabilities.
Demonstrate appropriate language and behavior when interacting with persons with disabilities.

Continuing Education credit:

Approved by the BRN for 1.5 contact hours. Provider number 14147.

Approved by the BBS for 1.5 contact hours. Provider number 2655.
