Since 1947, the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vallejo has grown from a staff of two physicians and five health care professionals to a full-service medical center providing high-quality. The Vallejo Medical Center includes:

• 290 licensed beds
• 420 physicians and nurse practitioners
• Over 580 nurses
• Over 350 medical support staff
• Service to over 245,000 members

Programs
Around-the-clock emergency care is available at the Vallejo facility, along with a number of health education and preventive programs. Other programs and services include:

• A 19 bed ICU and 9 operating rooms where more than 700 surgeries are performed monthly.
• The Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center, world-renowned as one of the most effective and respected rehabilitative centers in the world.
• Services that utilize the latest medical technology and equipment for comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, ranging from allergy treatment to cardiology and optometry.
