As part of Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to improving the health of people living and working in the communities we serve, the National Patient Care Services (NPCS) Education Team supports the entire community of nursing, from frontline nurses and nurse leaders, to nurses providing academic based education and nursing professional development, in ways that reflect our dedication to the Kaiser Permanente Nursing Vision, Values and Model.

We accomplish this by funding and hosting educational programs and symposia, and creating tools that promote professional nursing practice, clinical excellence, and patient- and family-centered care. We also support projects that advance issues related to nursing workforce, promote inter-professional collaboration, and provide resources that medical centers, nurse educators, and staff can use to improve quality care for their patients.

Kaiser Permanente Nursing Vision

Four male nurses working in local healthcare settings are featured in this 10 minute video. The video was debuted at the American Association of Men in Nursing (AAMN) 37th Annual conference last October and was funded in part by the Kaiser Permanente Community Outreach Fund.
